Old friends, new complications – will this be a season to remember?
The festive season has begun and Immy Brooks is more than a little distracted. Shillington’s, the beloved luxury department store where she works as a personal shopper, is struggling. And her relationship with her best friend (and soon-to-be boss) Lando Shillington has become very complicated.
She and Lando spent the night together before he left for Paris. And while he’s away, learning the ropes before he takes over the store and hopefully restores it to its former glory, Immy realises their friendship could be something more. She prides herself on knowing what people want, so she’s sure he feels the same. Even though he hasn’t been in touch . . .
When Lando returns with a glamorous new girlfriend and ideas for drastic changes to Shillington’s, Immy is devastated. As Christmas Eve approaches and Lando’s plans start to take shape, how can she make him see that not everything needs to change – and that maybe happiness has been right in front of him all along?
